Who doesn't love rainbows?!

Ok, I know there are certain people out there who don't care for them. But my family happens to love them. Especially my two sons!

I stumbled upon a rainbow wall hanging on Pinterest done by The Stitch Foundry and I immediately knew I had to make it.

My end result turned out a little different than theirs, but I love it nonetheless! I opted for pom pom clouds instead of the tassels they had and I made them with the Clover brand pom pom makers. Each cloud is one large pom pom in the middle and two small ones on the sides.

In keeping with the rainbow fun, I decided to make a plushie. This pattern by The Cookie Snob seemed perfect!

I knew I was planning on giving the plush to my youngest son, so I let him pick the colors. For the plush rainbow, we decided to use some non-traditional versions of the rainbow colors.

I also opted to not shaped the clouds, and not to add a face. But that was just personal preference.

I love how both rainbows are so different, yet so similar. Making both definitely added some brightness to my days! Which do you prefer? Make sure you follow the links above so you can make your own rainbows too!
